The implementation of project BG05SFPR002-1.004-0053-C01 Better working conditions in "BLOCK 2003" Ltd

On 07.11.2025 G. “Block 2003” Ltd. completed the implementation of project BG05SFPR002-1.004-0053-C01 Better working conditions in “Block 2003” Ltd, within the Human Resources Development Program 2021-2027, funded by a European Social Fund.

The project ended ahead of schedule, for less than 12 the month, with all activities completed and at a saving of approx 10% of planned costs.

On the completed project, we introduced green models in the organization of work, we purchased personal and collective protective equipment for our employees. By purchasing safety glasses for administration and helmets for welders, we have ensured safe and healthy working conditions for 80 employees from the target group. The investment in air conditioning systems ensured the appropriate aspiration and air conditioning in our rooms with the greatest pollution. This contributed to cleaner air, lower noise levels and constant temperature for the occupants. Risks to workers were also reduced through the investment in ergonomic chairs. By purchasing suitable office and industrial chairs, we ensured ergonomics at work for the BLOCK employees 2003, protecting them from back pain and strain.

As a result of the combined effect of the project activities, the quality of employment in our enterprise has improved significantly. We paid more attention to green practices in the company's activities - we started separate waste collection, we planted trees and generally committed to implementing a green work model in the company. As a result of the introduction of green models in the work organization, we have increased the environmental culture of all employees employed by us, so as to perform their activities with environmental care. Investments in PPE and collective protection equipment improve the health status of employees and provide a higher level of prevention.
